This is a solid shooting game. I was impressed by the realism in long range combat, and close quarters combat situations. The length and difficulty of the mission was satisfactory. The graphics are up-to-pair.
I had some minor issues with the game. First was the game play. The sensitivity settings are automatically set at 5, on a range of 0 to 10. This was little slow for me. After setting it to a 6, this become too sensitive. Changing directions while aiming, I found myself getting shot. Either I could not turn fast enough, or I would turn too fast. Thus, making the crosshairs move past the enemy making it difficult to defending myself.
In combat, depending on the type of scope you have, it can be difficult to see the enemy. When using whats called a Marksmans scope, once you are zoomed in, the view is as follows. Starting from the center of the screen, the view within the scope and its crosshairs covers about 50% of the screen. Outside of the scope, one can see the rest of the scenery. This is not realistic. If you are aiming through a scope, you will only be able to see what's through the scope; not whats through the scope and whats outside of the scope at the same time, in the same view.
As realistic as it may be, I felt it was a bit boring the characters options were limited to the types of weapons they could gain. Depending on your characters position in the firing team, determines the different options you have for weapons. On other shooting games the character may start with limited options, but as you progress further you gain more options for weapons; and the ability to customize each weapon. I did not find this to be the case in this game.
Those are the only of issues I found in the game. I do not consider myself in anyway an expert on shooting games. Yet, I have played many shooting games from Contra on Nitendo to MWF: Black Ops and EVERYTHING in between on all systems. I have to say this is an overall solid shoot
