I completely agree with the previous review. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, so here is mine. I love Battlefield and Call Of Duty, even Socom, but every once and a while you get a craving for something different, something more challenging, and something more intense, palm sweating, realistic, and out of the ordinary every day FPS catagory. Operation Flashpoint does that for me. I got that similar feel from GRAW 2, but this does seem to really make it more enjoyable for the only reason being the main campaign is 4 player co-op, and to me, co-op means re-playability. I started with my friends having no real idea what to expect, so we jump into a level, find a village and see some enemies off in the distance. I look through my scope and begin firing. Drop one, than get hit in the leg from the other direction. Now, I can't run and begin bleeding out to almost death. While the medic begins to heal me, the support guy cover fires as we hear a gunship coming in. He supresses fire, but my friend in the distance continues the onslaught, and the gunship see's the flashes and rains down fire. He's dead, 3 left. We start to move in and get blind sided from the hill and get knocked out by crossfire with just a few hits. The intensity was there, It makes you understand "simulation" and how you have to work as a team and try tactical approaches and stealth. Your run and gun and hide will only be your demise. Get some friends together, rent this game and enjoy a new experiance that will keep you coming back for more.
