Honestly, this game is awesome one of the best arcade stlye hack 'n' slash games I've ever played. I don't even know how I found the game, but I when I did find it on GameFly, the first thing I thought was "What the %$#&?". I watched a gameplay video of it, and I said to myself "Let's see here, horrible camera angels, every thing that hits you makes you fly back and hit the ground, the strafing animations are bad... THIS IS MY KIND OF GAME!!" If you put together the beach volleyball girls from Dead or Alive, the serious blood and gore from Gears of War, the hack and slash style of Devil May Cry, and a really cheesey looking movie based off of it, and you got yourself a really awesome game. I really like the CG cut scenes in the game, I like the violence, blood, and the bikinis are just a bonus. The game's got an interesting story, and great characters. The only let-down is that the dialogue is in Japanese, and you can't change the setting to English. But besides that, the game is awesome.

This game is made from a company that has little or no money to be placed next to +8 rated games reviewed by the masses, but listen to me. I LOVE NINJA GAIDEN. If you finished NJ I/II in less thhan 16 hours in normal mode then this is a game you can tolerate, especially if you don't have a HD TV like my Peice of crud tv. Loading times are less than a minite (even less if you install it in your hard drive; Survival mode is just like playing super mario '85 all over again with the 1-25 level, 2-40, etc... The combos are out of this world(I've done a +1000 combo in hard mode with a +300 kill combo while in chapter 5 (your on a motorcyle! Cool!)) You can counter attack if you timeit just right giving you a big advantage. Granted you can't do online co-op like the other games who have a big budget. All I can say is if you can't tolerate Devil May Cry 4 or Ninja Gaiden then give this game a shot!
-:- Choppy pictures and controls (you gotta wing it, especially when dodging)
-No online co-op play
-Really complex moves (+1000 combo with anna[Xx30 then Y+B] and +50 with aya/saki[Xx3...pause for 1/4 sec then slowly press X when they slash horizontally...quicker if you wanna finish the combo...try it out in practice mode)
-Quests don't explain how to get them(its a secret)
+:ITS ADDICTING It will make you play for +6 hours straight in survival mode; Especially once you level up beyond lvl 50 its all easy from there(tok me less than 5 hours to do so.)
+Co-op is awesome with just aya and saki....not so much with anna since she uses guns...too easy for me.
+Easy buttons to control once you get used to it.
...and thats my 5 cents....for those who hated this game...they MOST DEFINETLY NEVER PLAYED NINJA GAIDEN IN MASTER MODE! POSERS!
