the game has its ups and downs i feal as if the game makers did a good job the graphix are good the game view is good the plot is good and the combat is good. but the down side is that when you try to move people the whole thing gets kinda bad so it makes up for pathing with graphix and game play that reminds me a little bit of tropico
I had really high hopes for this game. I played the demo when it first came out, really enjoyed it, and put it in my Q immediately. When it came in the mail I was pretty excited. Then I put it in my system and all excitement faded, again, and again, and again.
This game is one mission. Done over, and over, and over, and over. After doing "exactly" the same thing four times in a row(supposedly in a 'different' part of town), I couldn't handle it and sent the game back.
Now your thinking, it's redundant, so what? Well, that was far from the only issue. Cutscenes, if you can call them that(still pictures moving across the screen, that's it), between parts of town, were the only places that had actual voices, the rest you have to read for yourself, IF you can figure out what the typos and bad grammar are trying to tell you.
Then we get to the combat. Or as I like to call it, the onslaught of horrible coding. When you go to attack someone, the game tells you what your chance to hit them is, in percents. If you are standing right next to a guy, POINT, BLANK, with your weapon practically attached to his face, well, your probably going to miss. Standing side by side, the highest chance to hit that I got was 63%. Under those circumstances, anyone would have a better chance than that. The computer however, can have no line of sight, your back against a wall with no more than your sleeve peeking out, and the enemy will most likely get a headshot and kill you.
All in all this is a cheaply created game that would have been fine back in the 80's. With bad graphics(still photos sliding across the screen is no longer acceptable as a cut scene), horrible spelling and grammar, as well as a combat system that obviously never got play tested, this game goes to the bottom of the bargain bin.
I give this a 3 out of 10, and go to mourn the time wasted that I can never get back.
