From the moment you turn the game on and getinto the opening story, you just know this game has it all. Great watercolor graphics, smooth frame rate, excellent story and great music.
Drawing in the game is well done and not complicated as i first thought it would be. The game is a good challenge but not to hard that you will toss a controller (IE: Ninja Gaiden), but also not to easy that you can breeze past it in a day or 2.

If you are an adventure fan of any sorts than you must try this game. You wont be dissapointed.

it looked like it was going to be a great game but it wasn't
the fighting was bland and repeteivethe art style made it look like a kids game music was subpar the best part of this game was watching mr orange dance buti dont think that that exactly is a VITAL part of gameplay not only that but the brush thing almost never worked right IT WAS MAKING TREES BLOOM WHILE I WAS TRYIN TO MAKE BOMBS

Very Good

Only game you'll ever play as a painted she-wolf..

Everyone and their mom will tell you how beautiful this game looks. Or if you don't believe their mom, you've likely looked at the screen shots and decided that for yourself. Beyond that, there's a pretty good game beneath the prettiness, like finding out that hot girl you're dating really likes Star Wars.
The story is original, lifted from Japanese folklore (or at least inspired by it...I'm not going to pretend I'm a historian of feudal Japan). Like I said, this is the only game where you'll be she-wolf.
You'll need to help people and pass missions like every other 3rd person action adventure game that preceded this one.
The patented "Celestial brush" may appear somewhat gimmicky (especially during fights), but at least it's forgiving. If you need to draw a line and can do so without looking like you're in a major drunken stupor, it'll play out. Fight sequences are pretty standard.
Some people have criticized it for lacking voice-overs in this day and age. I think the text reading works well because of the drawn medium.
My only real complaint is the camera which can be a little loose at times.
