When this game was announced for the Wii I was disappointed I wasn't going to be able to play it, as it's totally something I knew I'd like and I was a fan of other Suda 51 games. But I knew somehow someway it'd make it's way to PS3. So, I was obviously happy when it was going to get ported over. Overall, the game really isn't bad, but it shows it's age pretty terribly. The combat is a bit more stiff than it needs to be, I wish it was more varied and better or just fun would be good. But I can deal with that. The main quests are fine and what you'd expect from this game and are enjoyable and by far the best and soul of the game. It's great. Where the game FAILS miserably is in trying to incorporate the Sandbox Style into the game. First of all the sidequest are nothing special, don't even bother unless you care about trophies and then it's just a chore. The WORST part of the game is it's open world. It is the BIGGEST PAIN to navigate. The controls suck, you walk too slow, the driving controls are horrendously unforgivable and the world doesn't look good AT. ALL. Sucks all the desire out of the game.

i waited for this game to be released on the PS3 and was sorely disappointed by it. I don;t know what suda 51 is doing making video games because he is more tailored for movie making because obviously he has no idea how game mechanics work but boy can he make me laugh with his freshman humor but the game is lacking in everything else. i never found the game fun playing it but i enjoyed how over the top travis touchdown as a character was. that said i wanted to like the game but found myself wiping my tears with boredom through out the game. So if you are looking for a fun game to play while smoking illegal substances this is it but if you want a game that is actually fun this is another miss by suda 51 who should either stick with screenwriting or find a talented game designer to help with the actual programing and level design because i don't think this is his calling.
