Easy to learn, repetitive game play, limited schedules BUT strangely additive. In spite of the games limitations you'll find yourself attached to the dog(s). I would recommend it for rental but not for purchase.

This game is great for everyone. There doesn't seem to really be a major demographic here like most other first party nintendo games. I have had this game for awhile and I still play it hours on end whenever I get the chance. It's very easy to pick up and play. You have access to all kinds of tips and pointers from the get go and you learn something new about it everyday. It's especially great for anyone who wants a dog without the real hassle of smelling wet dog or dog poo. The bark mode on this is a great addition for multi-dog fun. The way Nintendo has captured dog behavior in this title is just amazing. There is a ton of content in this game, you start off with very little and as you progress by accumulating trainer points more and more options show up. The use of the stylus and mic is awesome. You can even blow bubbles by blowing into the mic! Great game definitely, recommended for everyone. Killer app for the NDS.
