Fun game but lacks story depth

Ninja Gaiden 2 Sigma was not nearly as difficult as the first game and that seemed to take away from the game in many ways. The first game had a really cool story behind it and made the user feel for Ryu and his big chested friends haha. Anyway the difficulty in the first game made every fight feel like an achievement when you beat it and this game made it way to easy to beat every battle and every boss. Basically if you went with block, dodge, and attack you pretty much win any battle and any boss fight. Combine that with a lacking story and you get a so so game.
The gameplay was a lot of fun. The fighting was really fluid, with the exception of some annoying camera angles, and it was a ton of fun to fight a bunch of enemies. The one addition I did like was that save points healed you! I think if they would have had less item chests and just let you use the save points for healing plus the shops this game would have been much better. I also liked the addition of a bunch of weapons, all the weapons were a blast to kill enemies with but I always found myself coming back to the dragon blade.
The story was really lacking, I felt nothing for Ryu's plight and very little for the side characters. The side characters were fun to play with especially the little princess ninja from the first game. The length of this game was excactly what it needed to be. I wish they would have had better dialog and cut scenes but overall you get your ninja kill bad guys story.
The graphics were very good. I liked how they made a modern/old world with Venice looking city and the airplane level was really well done too. Sometimes the screen got overwhelmed by to many bad guys but that made your combo moves look even better! I thought the level design was excellent and a gorgeous to look at.
The music added a little bit to the game but it got a little repetitive towards the end but for game that is 15+ hours long I am absolutley fine with that.
This game is definitely worth pla
