There is something kismet that had me playing to the end but it really doesn't hold much water. The game is classic stage oriented, the graphics aren't terrible but their gaining some date, and the spread of options for beating up baddies is average.
Average isn't bad. It's just not great.
Easy mode will give you all the normal difficulty but when you get down to critical you become super blocker/dodger and can handle anything.
Normal to Insane is ridiculously hard. I think they used a robot or the Korean tourney winners to build this games difficulty because if you are not on, like kong you are going to have your butt kicked over and over again.
If you want a romp, and to see an--ehh--ok story, then grab the title for a 4 day play through and send it back wondering if you should have spent that time elsewhere.

Ok,so,this game is pretty hard if you play it on any difficulty besides Hero.. It's fun for about an hour, but then it goes stale..You do basically the same thing the whole game.. The graphics weren't impressive. It almost looks like it could've been made for PS2..
It's not a horrible game,but it's definitely not worth buying.Rent,play for a few days off & on,then ship back.
So this one was as ok as the second one, which was way worse than the first one. I finished this one but could not really get into it. Worth renting if you're needing to fill up your queue.
--You get a team up level in a God of War 3 Gaia type boss level that's fun
--the healing power (I recommend getting fast)
--the health bonuses (also recommend getting fast)
--new upgrade system
--new save system
--Feels repetitive (go into room, spawn way overpowered baddies, rinse repeat for the whole game)
--While I don't have a prob with Troy Baker, they could have made Ryu sound remotely Asian
--Voice acting as a whole not that great
--boss battles boring and kinda pointless
--I used sword and fireball ki whole time, didn't see any point what so ever in using or leveling up any other weapons
--female animation...little boob happy. I mean they will just be standing there not moving at all and their boobs go beserk like some invisible dude smacked em up
--game as a whole. just wasn't there for me
Couple of pointers:
==Get healing, health boost, and counterstrike upgrades asap
==for the love of god utilize block, never ever ignore it

It would seem this iteration of Ninja Gaiden was deemed a bit weak by it's creators. So much so that they added in MANY long and mostly pointless cut scenes to bore us between somewhat repetitive battles.
Overall it's still a somewhat decent game, but quite short and lacking the variation of it's predecessors.

This game is fantastic! Even though its pretty much the exact same game they added extra stuff that made it great! Love the way karma plays a roll in the game too! Could stand to make some of the bosses a little bit more easy even on normal they're freaking impossible!
To be completely honest i couldn't get through more than an hour of this game..the controls are choppy at best, camera is wildly sporadic, and the game play is repetitive. I enjoyed 2 and the challenge that brought but this was nowhere near that caliber for some reason or another!
