Movie Description
Tim Burton's ghoulishly whimsical animated holiday tale has taken on a pop-cultural life of its own since its 1993 release. The heartfelt story depicts a world where every holiday has its own special land. Halloween Town's Pumpkin King Jack Skellington (voice by Chris Sarandon, singing by Danny Elfman) is bored of the usual tricking and treating. When he discovers the wonder of Christmas Town, he decides to bring the holiday's joyous tidings to Halloween Town. Using the spooky stuff at his disposal: bats, ghouls, and goblins, Jack's attempt at playing Santa doesn't go well. Jack's rag doll girlfriend Sally (Catherine O'Hara) has to get the holidays back in order. Burton's remarkable vision nabbed an Oscar nomination for its stop-motion effects, and Elfman's score was nominated for a Grammy.

Who says that animated movies stink? Whoever they are, their wierd. The music was great and ya gotta love Jack's perky personality and no one would ever be able to beat Tim burton's storyline for the movie. The opening song was awesome too! This movie inspired me to begin drawing wierd people again!...more
