ni no kuni review

its been along time since i played an rpg that was worth playing Ni no kuni is one of those games that comes along once in a blue moon that would blow you away on its artwork. Its is an amazing game on beautiful art work from studio ghibli and a story that will keep you going to make you playing to see what will happen.

Good
the game play is pretty simple to play the interesting part is almost like pokemon getting new friends to help you fight. The game play is also smiler to games like dot hack or persona which anyone could get into. The game is filled with some surprise here and there and the game was pretty fast pace in the beginning which i like its sends you into the fight as fast as possible unlike other rpg game where they take time to let you loose.

Bad
the bad i wish that you have more people on screen with you fighting instead of three but the game was originally release for the ds so i guess that they didn't really want to make any improvement for the ps3. The other thing i really hate is when you change your familiars to the next level you have to start from level one again.

All in all according to the game it too me about maybe 61 or 62 hours to beat. I did enjoy playing the game but its going to be a one time play through for me i wonder if i play it again i would improve the hour of game play or not. If your a fan of rpg then Ni no kuni must play game I would really like to get the special edition copy with the book and other goodies that come along with the game as a collectors instead. I wonder to myself would studio ghibli ome up with another games like Akira Toriyama dragon quest or will they call it quits. Overall Ni no kuni is going to be one of those special rare game for collectors that i will have to get my hands on.

If you like Anime, RPG's, good story-telling, amazing visuals and a unique experience, get this. Reminded me of the magic I felt when I played Secret of Mana or FFVII for the first time.

I've been playing RPG's for over 20 years, this is one you simply cannot miss. Incredible story, animation and soundtrack. Some people gripe about the combat, but I think it's because it's not really easy at any point in the game - it's always challenging. There have only been a few good games that go into the depth of character as they do Oliver, and with that I'll just say his story will really grow on you, whatever your age. One last thing that was very impressive was the amount of detailed gameplay after finishing the story - tens of hours!
