It could seem that the DS has it all now. Every little game and chore you could possibly think of has come onto the DS in some way or form, and the New York Times Crosswords make it a little more complete.
But, be initimadated by these puzzles. I came in thinking there would be some easy ones to mess with, but they start you right off the bat with some really strangely tough quizzes. Take it as a real thing; these puzzles won't take you a few minutes to blaze through, they take much, much more than that.
This game is relaxing, challenging and a great test of one's vocabulary. If you love doing crosswords and can't find enough to do in newspapers, then this is the game for you. If you find the everyday crossword too hard, I'd stay away from this game. The HINT feature allows you to basically cheat the whole time, which is what I ended up doing. Basically, a good game for geniuses.
Love the way this works with the stylus. Very intuitive interface. This may say more about me than the game, but I found anything above a Monday puzzle to be almost too hard to get through without using several hints. Are the real New York Times puzzles this difficult? My brain was definitely worked out and I still found even the most difficult puzzles very fun. Just have Wikipedia open for the late week puzzles!
