this game is a shadow of what it used to be. I have followed this series since its debute on the ps1, and every since nfs carbon it has lost its luster
the most notorious problem i have with this itteration is the fact that the freeroam aspect of the game is completly pointless when all you have to do is press down on the dpad to go to the next race.
another problem i have with this game is that the story lacks a connection to the actual game play. I could careless about the characters in the game. at times the physics in the game seem to be rushed unfinshed. for instance at some points in the story when you fail to complete objectives your car just flips over for no aparent reason.
i think this game was rushed out for the holiday season and should have been delayed for more polishing. this game failed to to carry torch that carbon, and underground 1-3 did!
so i started playing the game and i was shocked by how bad the graphic quality is on the 350z. then once i got started the graphics sucked so much that the PS3 starts to like freak out. horrible frame rate. after the beginning of the first actual race. i just had to put the controller down. a big disappointment felt like a Ps2 game...............
Wow. What can I say. This game has graphics out your "rear", that being said, so many freaking graphics that it feels like your playing on a computer from 1998, everything is SO SLOW and it lags so freaking bad, eventually you just know your going to crash the lag is so bad.
And the highway races? Some are ok, and some your just like "uh." you'll be driving, and your totally leading, at like 500-600ft lead, then all of a sudden, 3 or 4 cars change lanes, but they don't really change lanes, it's more like, they swerve to the next lane, and then swerve back, and other cars do the same, and your just like 'you got to be kidding me.'
if maybe they didnt try to create a video game with 285438509348503948503485bit graphics it would be a lot better, or at least make an option to lower the graphics - the ps3 struggles to run it, that's sad.
