WORST NFS GAME BY FAR

I was pretty excited to play this after reading the reviews. I could not believe how bad this game actually is. I completed 3 races before shutting it off and sending back.
Reasons why.....
Controls are garbage. There is a total of 3 preconfigured settings. None of them offer my favorite layout of gas being A, brake being B, and shifting via the triggers. Layout of all 3 settings was terrible.
Next is the engine they used. Straight out of a 10 year old arcade game. You're either driving straight or continually sliding the rear end out. And it broke free at very random times with a very unrealistic feel to the whole situation. I expected it to be at least similar to the previous ones and really hoped for a Forza type experience considering they eliminated what used to be the best part of the game, free roam.
The customization was a joke. Getting "package" custom jobs to your car with no real sense of HP increase or weight reductions, etc ruined the experience altogether.
I could go on but the game isnt even worthy of my continued effort. Don't waste your time and effort trying to play it. a 1 is too high for this epic fail of a racing game.
And I am a die hard NFS fan and have been ever since the PS1 versions.
