I may not be the biggest supporter of Need For Speed games however I have played my fair share and the 2005 Need For Speed Most Wanted is by far the best racing game in this series I have ever played. This game is probably the worst racing game I have ever come across. Basically this game blindly throws you into this open world giving you some basic controls and explaining to you that the way to win the game is by obtaining the most points. With absolutely zero story you are blindly driving around doing random races and receiving upgrades on your car. My biggest problem was there is no garage, in a racing game you will want to keep the beautiful cars you can find but the game creators basically eliminated keeping whichever car you want and just move on to the next car. The best thing I found in this game is the beautiful graphics, EA went above and beyond with its stunning visual display but left out the critiquing within gameplay. I still prefer the original Most Wanted over this garbage.

I know a lot of other need for speed fans weren't too keen on this title but I really did like the simplicity of it all. I don't need a whole lot of customization options, fast cars and challenging AI are good enough for me. The off-roading was also a lot of fun. It may just be me but there is something extremely satisfactory in taking a top end car like a porche on some serious dirt roads.
