You can't drive all the cars and part of the map is locked.
How do you unlock them? You gotta pay. Not with the in-game money you earn, your real money. Its cool to have expansion packs that add more to your game after you bought it. Just don't put it EVERYWHERE IN THE ACTUAL GAME. While exploring the open world you will run into a part of the highway that appears to be locked. You want to play this part of the map? 25 bucks please. If this is downloadable content, why can I drive to it? I pause the game and it's on my map like its part of the city? Like they designed the game this way, like a virtual in-game toll road. It is bad enough this is a rental and I gotta pay the 10 dollar online pass to play online.
See a black 1970 Dodge Charger (looks a lot like the one from Fast and Furious) hiding in a construction site? Pull up next to it like you do any of the other cars and hit the button to drive it. What happens? You go to the Playstation store to shell out 10 bucks to get the movie car pack. If you want to add to your game, great, keep it in the store, put it on a loading screen, put it on the pause menu, BUT DONT PUT IT ON MY MAP. Every time I am driving and I see a car hiding while I am exploring the open world I gotta check it out. I hate pulling up to it to learn I need to pay to play. I don't want to pay any more money to play this game. For every locked car pack vehicle you discover, it puts an icon on your mini-map forever reminding you that you can't drive this unless you pay.
This kinda of stuff takes away from getting immersed into the game. It is distracting like watching a movie with commercials as part of the story. This is like watching James Bond in the middle of a car chase making a pit stop to Subway to get a meatball sub. Before he bites down he looks right into he camera and says "EAT FRESH".
