I was not hoping to get this title so soon (truth be told I was hoping for titles like MOH Warfighter, ACIII, and Dishonored). It's not that I don't like Need for Speed games, just that I've never been huge on getting them ASAP as they usually rank around a 6-7 for me.
That being said this game absolutely shocked me. I haven't been able to play a ton of it left but it is so awesome. I've already found a bunch of different cars and smashed through billboards, etc. One of the coolest aspects of Most Wanted is that you have free drive to different events like races, top speeds at speed cameras, get away from cops, find new cars, etc. There is simply so much there and it's all awesome.
In races you can unlock upgrades for your cars and the cars have races specific to them. Autolog is ever present and it could not be better. You instantly know who, out of you and your friends, had the best high speed at a speed camera, or race, etc.
I am not big on buying the Need for Speed games simply because they seem to get old a little quicker than I like at $60 a pop. I really don't expect to send this game back though. I think I will most likely be keeping this game at some point which is an awesome feature from Gamefly.
If you're on the fence and you've been a NFS fan I can't recommend checking this title out more highly. If you're huge into GTR and Forza it may not be realistic enough for you as it does have a little bit of an arcade feel to it but you should expect that from NFS. If you've never played a NFS title before (and there is a 1% chance that's even possible) I can't think of a better one on XBOX 360 to whet your beak with.
