Need for Speed: Most Wanted for the X-Box 360 is a classic N4S. More arcade then simulator with the police chases that increase in difficulty from 1 to 5, 1 having just patrol cars chasing, 5 having SUV's, spike strips, and road blocks. The wide open map is back where you can drive around at your heart's content looking for signs to jump your car through, security gates to bust open, and their new feature, seeing cars parked with it's lights on, drive up to it, and you can drive that car. No challenges or missions involved.
The tune up shops, garages, paint shops, are all gone now. You have a mechanic shop placed throughout the world, where a drive thru instantly repairs your car, as well as chaning it to a random color of which you have no control over. AND THE REWIND FEATURE IS GONE!!!! Back are the classic N4S days where 10 minutes of 200 mph racing can be ruined in the last 10 feet of the race, and you get to start all over again. I have no idea why they would remove the best thing in racing games in a long time but that's EA for you. Have to pay to the UPlay account, unless you bought the game, to access online features. Being able to see how your friends are doing as well CUSTOMIZING YOUR CAR!!!! are the best things, in my opinion, about the franchise. No decals, paint jobs, rim options, or even tinted windows. EA decided to do that, "I'm the artist and want to make the game this way no matter how bad it is or what the fans want." If you're itching for a racing game, wait for the new Forza to come out. You expect the graphics and sound to be of quality (the soundtrack sucks unless you're into indy rock and club bass), but the gameplay definitely takes a step back from the last game. Epic Fail
