i found that the normal control scheme where you tilt the controller side ways anad use it like a wheel was the most responsive, and kinda fun. i cant say i didnt have a good time playing this game i was just left with a empty whole knowing that its online on the other systems and the graphics are no better the the PS2.
as compared to the other launch racing titles for the Wii this is a great game, if not the best racing game. and even the out look of racing games to come it looks like it will stand up to its title.. But.. if you have a 360 or PS3.. or plan on getting either one, you will be left wishing you got it for that system.
I really enjoyed the gameplay of this simple and challenging game, but it was entirely too dang short! The gameplay is fun and easy to get ahold of plus I really enjoyed the the drift mode, and the fact that there wasn't so many stipulations to get to the boss race. But after everything good I have to say about this game is cut short and I mean that literally because I beat the game in two days with no more than three or four hours total gameplay. Overall I really enjoyed the game, But I just think it was too short to be worth $50 - $60.
The game play itself is solid and the controls are realistic (as far as the physics are concerned). There are many control styles which are nice, but they can be frustrating at times. It's also a bit short for the avid gamer.
This game is definitely for those who really enjoy customizing cars and tweaking every little detail to what they want. It's not really for the type of gamer who just likes to get in there and race.
