If you have a ps3 and dont have hdtv hook up. then you cant write a review on any game! im tired of people saying graphics suck. even with out hdtv they are good. but to experiance the whole game, anygame, hdtv is required. The graphics and the storyline are great. the game play could be better. the game is to easy to win. the cpu cars seem to slow down near the end so you can catch up. but if my memory is correct all nfs games have been like that. not a simulation game and i knew that and thats ok. great game to rent not buy. very fun at first but gets old quick. but thats all racing games but nascar!

While no game is perfect, this one comes very close. The graphics are top-notch when you take advantage of HD capabilities & the game play is smooth.

There are so many cars you can start new careers & still never drive them all.

A true must play!!

The first thing you'll notice about Carbon is that the graphics do not impress. Second thing you notice is that despite lackluster graphics, the framerate is incredibly choppy. I'm really surprised how bad the game performs. Then, you get into the actual gameplay and you'll find it to be just like other recent NFS games, which means a lame, unnecessary story (with many non-skippable cutscenes), and an emphasis on flash over substance. It's essentially just like the previous games except they've piled on more fluff like taking over territories and haing wingmen. Expect EA to some day release a "real" NFS game at which point they'll pretend to be brilliant for deciding to "take it back to the basics". Something they should have never left.
