I'll start off by saying that if you like Naruto, you'll most likely like the game, however, as with all games certain aspects could have been better. The game felt rushed to me, like they could have spent a little more time on it. One improvement from the first game is that whoever is in your team you can use without a time limit. That way you're not stuck with using Naruto 80% of the time. But on story mode you're also not able to pick your team. There were certain characters that I looked forward to getting only to have been able to use them once or twice during the entire story. An upside to that is there are side missions that allow you to use any character you've acquired during the story, although, most are timed leaving little time to actually play around with them. Some missions do let you walk around the world map and get in random encounters, but most of these are with the weaker enemies which don't allow you to net bank amounts of virtue(exp). Eh, overall the game was pretty decent. Like I said, if you like Naruto you'll prolly like the game.

but probably not for those who looking for a intensive fight game like tekken, soul calibur, or virtua fighter.. Namco decided to ditch the 3D design for the shaded type graphic instead, they also keep the gameplay, and the worldmap random encounters the same as the first game. You can also buy equipments, upgrade you characters just like the first one. Beside the graphic style difference between this game and the 1st one, this game also a co-op mode, where player 2 can jump in anytime in story mode. There are survival, story, vs, upgrade, etc.. but for some reason.. no arcade (p1 vs com) mode :?? Namco tried to have a little bit of everything in this game, by including, action/adventure and rpg elements into one package. Also, this game has a new storyline, unlike most dragon ball z games :/ Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles 2 will be love fans, but not so much by non-fan gamers.. still it's worth a rental.
