I actually really enjoyed this game. It has the same Naruto feel to it as the series does, and for the most part the game balances fun and challenge. It does have some issues though.

It's more or less a sure bet that your favorite character will be in the game. The game accommodates this even more by letting you do most of the missions and such as any character you have unlocked. If you feel the urge to play through the entire game as Tenten, you can. It also somewhat follows the storyline of the series, as much as can be expected. The characters vary pretty widely, and I am sure you'll be satisfied with the results. Nearly any character has a chance of beating any other character.

The combat system is fairly simple, and for the most part follows the DBZ games in play style. It is a whole lot of fun. That said, on occasion you might find times where you feel like throwing your controller across the room. Many times I lost to friends because of the special jutsus, which on occasion have little equality to them. Even though you beat your friend in button presses, you can still lose and have the jutsu continue. Also, many of the missions will make you want to tear your hair out if you haven't pumped up your characters enough.
