First off, I'm a huge fan of naruto, and got this game with high hopes. It was fun to play(at some points), I loved the boss battles, and I liked the epic attacks for most characters. But since I wanted later to play it, I saw how the story was supposed to go, and the game pretty much felt like it was making stuff up to make the game seem great. Also, I didn't like the fact that it felt like they didn't do anything to make the voices and the lips somewhat match up from the Japanese version, 5 seconds after talking and their lips are finally done moving. The cinematics were sometimes way too long. I'd be staying up late and just waiting for a save point, which also were very scarce, you decide to redo something, you'll have to go all the way back to the save point, which could be the very beginning of the chapter. But the cinematics could go over 30 minutes sometimes and the fighting would only last 10, which I don't think makes since. But the fights are usually fun, especially when you have you have the hang of the controls. I enjoyed the environments and the different modes for each character, I would have liked to been able to play as a lot of different characters through the story though, I think you get to play less than 10 the whole time.
Overall, it's a great game with a few annoying things, if you like naruto, you probably won't mind, but I think everyone should give it a try.....a sold rent

The fighting is great along with the story line, plenty of things to do even after you finish the main story. And for people like me who havent been able to follow the story line so well, it does a great job at filling you in with interactive cutscenes and in depth retelling of the stories. There is a multitude of characters to unlock and choose from. A great blend of an RPG and a Fighting game. It really exceeded my expectations
