One word: FUN!

The Naruto manga is not my favorite, but even if you do not know the back story you will have a great time kicking tail in this game. The look of the game gets a 10, the voice work are done by the same pros that do the anime. The game play has a lot of quick time situations, but give off to some amazing scenes right from the anime. You play through the game as different characters in story mode. You have a few side missions, but the main story is way better than the side missions. If I had to complain about one thing about story mode, it would be it is too short. I understand they covered as much of the anime/manga as they could at the time. For example, Tobi is my favorite character, but of course the game was made before his story got really good. Gaara was my other favorite, and you get to use him in the first chapter early on but after that you do not see him again. Everyone has their favorite. The story begans from Gaara's kidnapping to the final battle with Pain. For those reading the manga you can guess what is covered in that time period. When it comes to the one of one battles all the characters are there after you complete story mode and do a few side missions to get Killer Bee ect. Great online, and I am ready for Generations to come out next week.
