NHL 2K8 for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

I have not played a hockey game since I had a Sega Genesis, so my review is based solely on todays offerings being brand new to me and not "updated" aspects of last season games. I was expecting it to be more close hard hitting ultra graphics and awesome. At first I was a bit disappointed, but then as I began to play it more I began to enjoy it more, I had to fool with the controls to get a configuration I was comfortable with, but it is a good game, I enjoyed it better then the other options available.

Pros: Good Graphics, Online playability, ability to customize controls to liking

Cons: Sometimes doesn't seem fast enough

This is a really good hockey game! I like the playability and speed of the game. The player models are really nice! The fighting might take a little getting used to, but it is still good! Even for a PS2 game it has really sharp graphics on it, looks very clean! I personally would recommend this game to anyone who like hockey or the major hockey fan!
