NHL 2K7 for PlayStation 2

2K sports has done it again, raising its game with several MVP-caliber enhancements to its already stalwart NHL 2K hockey franchise. Hundreds of new motion captures have fine-tuned the skating mechanism, making movement more natural and on-ice momentum a greater factor. Enhancements to 2K's Pro Control system bring new offensive moves like drop passes, screen plays, and other goalie-torturing tricks. Defensive enhancements include Pressure Control, which lets you target your opponent's key players. Shadow them, pester them, or deliver a bone-crunching shoulder under their chin! Other notable features include an intensified Franchise experience and a board-shattering soundtrack featuring tracks from powerhouse indie label Sub Pop Records.

I have always loved hockey games, so I may be a biased. For this reason I have lowered my rating from what i feel it should be (a 9 or 10) down to a conservative 8.
