Great game for Xbox, just the same for 360.

After hitting stores two months later than it's current gen counterpart, the Xbox 360 version of NHL 2k6 hit shelves just in time for the 360 launch. This game is just like its counterpart, with no new features, other than updated, enhanced graphics. The graphics are nice, but nothing great for next gen material. Their is a vast variety of very fun game modes. They even included a party mode with over ten mini games, that support up to 4 players, that were surprisingly fun. Another great feature was able to play the goalie, during a penalty shot, this puts you directly into the game, and was a nice addition. Overall, I see this game as more of a rent then buy, but if you want to buy, I would go for the xbox version. Graphics = 6 Gameplay = 8 Fun Factor = 7 Overall score (not an average) = 6.
