I love the NHL series from EA, but despite contrary belief by others, I am more fond of 07 then 08. I found the graphics to be smoother and gameplay as well in 07. NHL 08 controlling is tougher because the players glide too much which may be more realistic but made it too hard for me to check and control my players movements. I am sticking with 07 for the time being. The differences from 07 are too small otherwise then the movements to feel a need to make the leap to 08.
