If you have played NHL 2005 and 2006 then you have played NHL 2007,the only difference being roster updates. Gameplay, cut scenes and the announcers have changed very little. I think the worst thing is the goal tending. Its horrible, if the puck does not hit your goalie square in the chest don't expect him to make any big attempt to stop the puck.

Game play is a bit improved over last year, but the rosters are already out dated, they don't have Buffalo's new uniforms, some of the starting goalies still don't have pads, and the goalies are absolutely stupid. Turning up the difficulty just results in games where the score is 9-8, 11-8, etc.
