Well first off i would like to say, this game still ahs the two button shooting controls. Provides hours of fun and easily the most realistic hockey game on the market. There were a few bad things though, we have the edited rosters but where are all our favourite rookies such as Ovechkin? Fun franchise mode and quick play the mini game arent worth playing. Definitely worth a play if you like hockey or just like sports.
This game was amazing. I have not played an NHL game since the good old days of Super Nintendo NHL 94, which was also a great game. The thing that really blew me away was the absolute dead on physics, players skate, hit, shoot and react to on ice actions in the ways that they should. The game moves smoothly, the players shoot really well and not slow and sluggish. The graphics are amazing, the detail on the faces could be a little better but the ice shines like it should. The only thing that kind of bugs me about the game is the same thing that happens in most EA sport games and that is the crappiest teams seem to become the best team in the world when you are having a good season, I find it highly unlikely that a team with a record of 10-25 should be able to come close to a team with at 32-3 record, it seems stupid that teams should be made better because you have a winning streak. All in all this is an amazing game and I recommend it highly.
