Sizzling skating and searing slap shots are back in Electronic Arts' NHL 06, with all-out gameplay designed for maximum offensive firepower. The EA Sports Skill Stick feature unlocks the signature moves of NHL stars with a tap of the right analog stick. Deking control provides intuitive on-ice movement designed to make the opposition look foolish. Rip off goalie-shaking blasts with Realistic Puck Momentum (RPM) physics. Fly by defenders with all-new momentum skating that accounts for the size and speed of each player. Duck inside the Creation Zone to build a hometown dynasty or to create a player in your likeness. You can even add black eyes and broken noses to up your intimidation factor.

Well first off i would like to say, this game still ahs the two button shooting controls. Provides hours of fun and easily the most realistic hockey game on the market.
