Simply a broken title

Simply put, this is not a good game. If you don't care for a challenge, and you like to just score points: you may like 2009. If you're more interested in playing a game that resembles college football: you will be disappointed.
It has excellent production values, but at its essence, NCAA 2009 is an unbalanced game. It seriously has about as much offense/defense balance as the old Midway Blitz titles.
There simply is no defense in this game. Defensive lines are unable to assert any pressure on the quarterback. The offensive linemen are grossly overpowered. Marginal offensive linemen are able to manhandle and pancake even the most elite defensive linemen.
NCAA 2009 is the most disappointing version of the declining NCAA football product line. 2008 is flawed, but it's a better title.
EA should be ashamed of this poor product.
