First of all, the negatives. Other than a great playing football game, there aren't a lot of extras with this one. Dynasty is stripped down to a '98 version of NCAA football and there isn't any Heisman mode to speak of. That being said, it's still a great playing football game.

The graphics are fabulous in many spots, but I've experienced framerate performance issues in between plays that can be a little annoying at times. It doesn't affect gameplay any, just a little annoying that it stutters in between plays from time to time.

I have to say I miss the stadium pulse from last year's version. That really added to the atmosphere of the stadiums.

It's a great game to play while waiting for Madden 2007. I've had my share of great games so far. I have had the game freeze up with a minute left of a great game which I've seen has happened to others, but I'm used to these kinds of things happening from time to time in video games so I can live with it. I just hope it doesn't happen too often.

Another great rental for the 360. Only buy if you don't get Madden when it comes out. Otherwise I'd say rent it on your Gamefly while waiting for Madden. I'd give it higher than a 7 if there weren't some of the problems listed here. It's just hard to forgive some of the performance issues on such a powerful system.

NO COOP, NO 4 player?!?

Let me start off with my biggest issue. NO COOP, NO 4 player! What were they thinking? WOW... They removed standard functionality that to me defines a football game. 2on2 is the best when you have 4 people. High five'n your partner and talking trash to your opponents sitting next to you.

Playing a game against a friend is fun, but for long term entertainment, the best is playing a coop season/dynasty (I was even hoping for online coop season/dynasty). I am just astonished... EA has failed me again and I'm hoping for a patch here for redemption.

Madden 07 better not be as crippled as this, or as bad as Madden 06. If so, I really hope the Blitz game does a good job, so I can have a fun football game to play.

With the horrendous negatives behind, the game play itself is fun for me, and I think the graphics are pretty good, not stellar but nice. Dynasty mode is fun, but doesn't seem very innovative or deep.

I've never really been a fan of the NCAA titles in the past. I've been more of an NFL only fan. I played the demo for NCAA from the XBL marketplace and was very impressed with the game. It really captures the spirit of a college football game. Some people complained that it was missing features that were available before. Since I have never really played a previous version, I can't comment on that, but I didn't feel it was missing anything.

The AI is awesome, on both offense and defense. The game plays very well. I think that EA hit the nail on the head with gameplay.

Graphics are amazing. The crowd looks kind of silly up-close, but that's par for the course. The on field graphics are sweet.

Sound is amazing too! It really captures the spirit of the college game. Hearing the band play the fight songs, and hearing the crowd really get into the game. It's very immersive.

Overall, I highly recommend this game to anyone who loves college football!
