Keys to Victory)
Playing a complete team-oriented game is the best/easiest way to win a championship. Although there are plenty of ways to show off one of the games many slam dunks, it is smart to look for the open player. NBA 2K3 lets gamers mainly play the superstar player and get away with it, but you won't get far in this college derivative without passing and playing to your teams strengths.
Diving for Loose Balls)
When there is a loose ball on the ground you can have your closest player dive for the ball by pushing B. Unlike NBA 2K3, players can dive for any loose ball.
High School Regional All-Star Games)
During the final six weeks of the season it is recommended that you participate in the High School All-Star games. These games will let you play the players you have been recruiting since the 8th week of the season. This will let you determine a players flaws and pluses before you offer him a scholarship.
This Sega college basketball title doesn't take into account the history of a school when recruiting blue-chips. For instance if Kentucky has a horrible record they will have a tough time getting blue-chip commitments that year, but if a team you have never heard of (Indiana State) puts together a good year they will start to land some good recruits.
The colleges below have their identities changed in the game because Sega wasn't able to get their licenses.
