I haven't realy played basketball games for a while or not much but, this one truly great especially the crowd integrity makes you feel like your there. I dont if NBA 2K9 has this good of gameplay and crowds but, it was simply amazing. Alto I did have to send it back because there was alot of glitches like it kept freezing in the beginning of every game, and the scenes got kinda chppoed up. but still a great game. Next up I will try NBA 2k9 and see if that's better in the recent demos I tryed, I found NBA 2K8(At the time they only had NBA 2K8 and LIVE out)was better.

Overall: 7.9/10.0

Best Basket Ball Game in Years!

I picked up this game the day it game out and have not been able to put it down. This game has the most authentic player movement and control that i have ever witnessed. Everything is smooth, and passing the ball doesn't seem as unresponsive as past versions of live and 2k. I'll admit Live on the 360 hasn't always measured up,but the game play this year is amazing! Also the preset AI in the game is much better than previous years. You can pick this game right up without having to mess to much with the sliders. Graphically live 09 is better than 08; the close-up views are better than 2k9; but 2k9 definetly wins when it comes to the stadiums and crowds. My opinion: live is hands down better than 2K9 this year. I really like controlling dribble moves with the right analog stick over the iso motion in 2k9. The iso motion makes 2K9 to acarde like. I suggest you BUY THIS GAME!

The visuals are great and the gameplay is okay. NBA 2k still beats Live but Live has improved A LOT from what it use to be. The whole DNA aspect of the game makes this game more realistic than 2k. I am the type of person that loves playing a Dynasty mode. And the first problem I have is when the players created in fake drafts look like the ugliest people on the face of the earth. I drafted a black guy with yellow eyes and long thin black hair....yea very un-realistic. And what really got me upset was that in 2k, I can change the created players appearance, in Live you can only change the shape of teh face...meaning that if your guy has yellow eyes and long blonde hair, it stays that way. The game locks the option to change a characters apearance once the game creates that player, something they should change. The game lags at times. To load a screen it could take a minute or two of loading time.

This game was fun, has a few bugs, but the approach that EA took made this game finally a competitor to 2k.
