NBA DIVE WHAT A GAME WITH ALL THE NEW FEATURES FOR THE NEXT GEN. CONSOLE EA FORGOT TO MAKE THE PLAYERS PLAYABLE THE COMPUTER MOVE AROUND YOU AND SCORES AT WILL WHILE YOU PASS WHEN YOU TRY TO DUNK, MISS OPEN LAY-UPS, HAVE EVERY SHOT BLOCK(when you don't use the new shooting system),& FOULS EVERY 5.7 SECONDS. NBA DIVE REALLY BLOWS BUT THE PLAYERS LOOK GREAT ESPECIALLY THE UNSTOPPABLE COMPUTER CONTROLLED ONES I GAVE DIVE A 5 RATING BECAUSE IT LOOKS GREAT & THE FIBA TEAMS WHAT A GREAT ADDITION BUT LIVE IS MISSING ONE REALLY BIG FACTOR AND THATS LIFE EVEN WITH THE GAME SPEED AT MAX LIVE '08 IS SLOWER THAN LIVE '08 ON THE NORMAL SETTING.HOPEFULLY LIVE WILL BE REVIVED IN '09 UNTIL THEN STANDCLEARRRRRRRR!!!!

Another NBA Live

Not a horrible game in comparison to prior Live titles. nothing to incredibly different though. Graphics are good, and play is smooth. The AI is still too easy, and playing on line was lagging badly. I have an excellent connection as did the guy I played, and both of us were lagging bad! Played through one season, and then the newness was gone. As I saw in one persons review good rent, but I wouldn't buy it, unless you are a huge NBA fan.

Fun to rent, not a buy

Visually, this game is absolutely amazing. the graphics are excellent especially considering it's 720P. Gameplay, however, could still use some tweaking. sometimes, the Go-To moves on the right joystick simply dont do anything. and i found about half of my alley-oops carrying the receiver behind the backboard. Online play was pretty smooth for the most part. But it always seemed like i was either getting blown out or winning by blowout. Fun for a couple days, but no tears when putting in the mailbox.
