Bad

Boring as it gets

positives
+ fairly easy achievements (just simulate a season and you'll get most of them)
+ fun to play against your peeps on the same xbox
+ the loading "screen" is cool.. you can practice your jump shots and stuff while it loads

negatives
- can no longer play over live against other people or get all the achievements because EA shut down the game servers for this game
- free throws are painfully awkward to accomplish
- if playing against the computer (and its winning by a small margin) it will foul you every 10 seconds in the last 5 min of play (obviously it knows you wont be able to make any free throws)

Bottom Line: Easy achievements.. so-so game play.. can't play on live. Rent it if you want the achievements, but there are better choices for enjoyability.

when i heard about this game and saw the graphics i was amazed the graphics are great on this game so i went and bought it what a mistake . the beginning fun to play with to get to know the controls..... but where is the little tutorial? well they don't have one and i also noticed it took me like forever trying to find out how to shoot free throws i was pressing every button and combation i could and none of them worked. really big mistake the don't have any mini games which is very disappointing to me cause i liked them on the last one 05 one and this goes for the madden o6 to you had some fun mini games but it didn't havem either. the controlling was pretty smooth the whole time except for free throws . so its ok to rent for a little if you like the graphics and the cool dunks you can do.

This game is good for achievement points and that's about it. This, like most of the first EA 360 releases, was very weak. These games appeared rushed and lacked alot for a next gen system. Would only recommend if you are looking to build your gamer score.
