Game Description

You start the charge from half-court. You power around the key, lifting off with miles left to go. Finally, you jam the ball through the net in the ultimate slam dunk! That's just one of the new features in 2K8, and it takes place on a neon-lit outdoor court in the middle of the Vegas strip. Take on three friends in the three-round contest and enjoy dominance on the court as you choose your dunker from an all-star roster, including Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Gerald Green. All the classic 2K features are back, along with a brand-new defense system and more options for running plays while on offense.

There is not much new here. 2k7 was great, and so is 2k8.The only new feature is the Sportscast Sim option for the association mode. It lets you sim a game possession-by-possession, and even call timeouts and sub players. The dunk contest would have been nice on ALL systems, but it doesn't ruin the ...more
