Too many issues with freezing

NBA 2K12 was by far the worst PS3 game that I have ever played. I never was able to play more than one game consecutively without it freezing.
Maybe 2K Sports should concentrate on making a quality product without issues before they worry about the bells and whistles. You can customize your shoes, but good luck playing the game for any amount of time. And it isn't like the gameplay and graphics are amazing either. They are subpar at best for a blueray PS3 game in 2012. EA Sports does a much better job with realistic sports AI and graphics. It is a shame they don't put out a basketball game.
NBA 2K12 froze during My Player mode at halftime, mid game, and during drills, during Association (Franchise) mode during free throws and mid game, and throughout simple quick game matches. I never even tried Legend mode because I spent so much time waiting for the thing to load and restart due to freezing. I spent well over 6 hours trying to troubleshoot the freezing issues. I contacted the game manufacturer, 2K Sports, for feedback, and it turns out this has been an issue for this title since day one. They continue to build new patches and updates, but as soon as they fix one another pops up. They should all be unemployed. I followed their instructions to delete the game data utility and reinstall and it didn't fix the problem. Very frustrating, and a massive waste of my time. My advice is don't waste your time renting the game, and definitely don't buy it.
