NASCAR 07 for Xbox Reviews by Gamers

I will say the graphics are a little better this year than last, as expected. The crashes are much more realistic as some other members have noted and the total team control aspect is still in place so you can control(to an extent) the drivers on your team. Also new this year are driver attributes. Each driver is rated on short tracks, medium tracks, long tracks, road courses, and superspeedways. They average theses to get an overall rating. Scale is from an A+ to a F however no driver on the circuit has a rating of lower than C-. There is also a option to turn these attributes on and off so if you want to take Kyle Petty (C-) and try to beat your buddy playing Tony Stewart (A+) you will not be dead in the water from the start. The game is overall a better game than was put out last year by EA sports.

What could be improved?

MULTIPLAYER- This mode is still for only two players... If there are four controllers on the X-box then give us the ability to used them!! The last year that a four player mode was 2005 I believe. It is so much more fun with four players.

DRIVERS- Almost all full time drivers on the circuit appear in the game except for the "field fillers" like Kevin Lepaige Morgan Shepard and Travis Kvapil. Ahh But I said "ALMOST ALL". Obvious Drivers missing from the game include rookie Clint Boyer, veteran Ken Schrader and the FAN FAVORTIE CARL EDWARDS. Oddly enough Boywer is available in the Busch series. Get all the drivers in the game! Pay them the money, get the rights, If its in the game, then it's in the game... Not always the case

TRACKS- This is just me speaking but I would love to see some of the old retired tracks in the game such as: (but not limited too) North Wilksboro, Raleigh Speedway, Rockingham, Ontario Motor Speedway, Riverside International Raceway and my favorite Soldier Field, Yes the home of the Chicago Bears hosted a Nascar race back in 1956, it was a half mile oval. None of these tracks are in the game.
