Sims + Animal Crossings + Legos

the headline says it all. There are a lot of good things going on in this game. I actually bought this after only a few hours of playtime from my gamefly rental. My wife has put about 8 hours into it since getting it only two days ago. There is tons to do and building, lots of building. If you don't like legos and having may not like this, otherwise, get it! This is a good game for the wii and has a lot to do.

Good Game to Rent..BUT..

The graphic in MySims is very cute, and the idea is new, but after couple hours you will feel bored and annoyed. All you do in this game is building stuff, and there is not much options in the building mode. You just do the same thing over and over, its endless. The paint color is limited, the decoration you can use on your house is limited. The conversation you do with people in town is repeated, and you have to build every house in the town..and almost all their furniture as well. You can unlock new locations as your star rating go up, but that just leads to more building houses and furniture.

Overall this game is not bad for the first couple hours, but I will not recommend to buy this game. It is nothing like the other Sims games.

Sometimes cute isn't enough

Couple months back I saw the teaser trailer for MySims and was very pleased. Finally a game than can use the wii's abilities to its fullest; or so I thought. The anime style characters give a refreshing new look, but how did it go so wrong? All you do, the whole point of the game is building, building, and nothing but building. It has none of the elements that the sim series is known for. Why'll you can make small talk and there are a few mini games there just isn't enough here to keep a seasoned gamer satisfied. I recommend you rent this game, not buy, if you want to check it out for yourself. But I will say that this is a perfect game for children and parents that want a cute alternative.
