My Sims: Kingdom, I'll just say, nothing new. Very similar to the original, only difference is, their is a defined story line to this and their is are a bunch of new essences to collect. I would call it also a small RPG hybrid because of the need to collect Mana. Usually found in RPG-Magic type games. My Sims: Kingdom continues to prosper in entertainment and the gameplay is still really nice, but all of this is just a repeat. It fits well with what you have to do and I honestly hate going around collecting essences over and over again just to continue the story. Collecting them is a bit simpler now but it continues to be just as annoying as the original one. The building style is so much better then the original one and is entertaining to build but what I really loved was the ability to build other things then just houses, you can build bridges, machines, etc. I would give this game a solid 7 out of 10.
though it is funny at parts and has new sims this game is a major down fall from my sims. first the game play gets old quickly you talk to somebody to give you a mission like make there house better give you a scroll collect essences gain a new abilities and complete the mission. also you cant build furniture and essences cant be used to paint things. you cant choose who lives in the kingdom and most of the game is building gears and pipes once you beat te game they give you more missions and ask you to put so much stuff on a house or garden that it looks horrible. worst of all buddy the bellhop s your partner and fallows you every where. also a ton of sims from the last game aren't even in the game.
