Truth be told I didn't keep this "game" for more than a few days. Thing is, I realized almost immediately that if this was going to do any good, I'd have to keep it and keep using it for quite awhile, which wouldn't make much sense as a rental from gamefly.

I guess what I'm saying is, don't bother renting this. If you're interested in it, buy it, you won't get a sense of its value or quality from the first few hours even. You can always trade it in later.

If I was still in High School this game would have been a lifesaver. Great for students who want to take French in HS or college.

A Good Supplement

This game is an excellent vocabulary builder for the French language. You can see the word, you can hear the word, and you can even record your voice to compare. There are eight games to help you learn it all, and that certainly beats flash card monotony.

Sounds great right? Well, here are the flaws. This game is absolutely wonderful at teaching you that French vocabulary but doesn't make much of an effort to teach you grammar, sentence structure, or verb conjugations. Those things you're best off learning elsewhere.

It is what it is, a good supplement to learning the French language, and it sure beats flash cards.
