The controls are difficult. You die instantly at any fall longer than your own body-length, of which there are many. The puzzles are difficult and non-intuitive; rather than figure them out, you simply have to keep guessing until you stumble across the right sequence. There's no real notion of how different weapons should be put together, short massive amounts of trial and error.
Personally, I feel the big draws of the DS are its portability, it's multi-player capacity, and the fact that you can play simple games ad infinitum to help pass time when you're waiting for something. This game is far too frustratingly difficult to understand or control for that.
I would say it's an okay game but it's a pain in the butt when you reach the level with the cacti, after I beat the boss, another cactus killed me, so I had to do all of it again, and what the other person said "the puzzles are difficult" and " the weapon combining system is and hit and miss" so I give this game a low 4
the beginning is fun don't get me wrong, but there are no different storys for any of 3 classes, Heavy, Sage and Scout, it gets boring after all of them so I really don't like this game
