I had high hopes for this title, especially after seeing the target render for the game. The actual game play doesn't even come close to meeting that standard, however it does look quite nice. As a ps3 owner i'm desperate to find a great game for the system and at first glance I was ready to throw this game into the category of could've been's. But the game grew on me. The high points of this game are definitely in the details. The tracks left in the mud, the lighting, and the overall game physics make it quite an experience. The story mode is very challenging, which I really enjoy, but might not be for the casual gamer.
If you are a ps3 owner, and you've been wondering when all the good games are going to come out, rent this title, no wait BUY THIS TITLE, it;s the best looking and playing ps3 game yet (which doesn't really say much)

If you are looking for a solid racer that presents great course challenges this is your game. I wish there was more to the online mode as it is just a standard join the race and win with very little extra or ranking involved. But, even then you have a nice variety of vehicles to select from and using the headset online works well with this title. Definitely worth playing and maybe owning if you are a racing game fan.

Excellent

This Off Road Is Da Chain!

I must admit MotorStorm is by far the best off road game. Playing on the Blu Ray format make the game as real as it can get. I like the responsive controls, the realistic like vechiles, detail course, clear video cut senses. Playing on the course makes it seem so real, because the rugged course makes your vechiles respond realisticly. Oh! You got watch out for debris from other vechiles, it can mess your driving skills. Even though, I'm a hip-hop listener, I like the soundtrack of the game also. The reason why I rated this game 9-10, because I'm more of a fighting and sports game fan. Nevertheless, you got to put this game into your PS3 collection
