This game is so close to a 9 it isn't even funny. The demo that you can download from the Playstation store does not do this game justice. The real game is much more fun and challenging. The game would have gotten higher scores if you could use your own soundtracks and there was some more coarses, it would have been nice to have races in wooded or more sandy areas, like a beach. The graphics are pretty nice and if this is what the 1st gen games can do I cannot wait to see when they figure out how to program the PS3.

This game does deserve a rent and you will most like purchase after it.

I thought this was going to be a great racing game. Im not a big racing game fan as it is but I had to rent this game because of all the hype and talk about it. Played it a couple of times and its just like any old racing game, driving around in circles and boring. The crash scenes are pretty cool but after a while its kind of repetitive. If there was no online play this game would be horrible and how do you make a racing game with no two player split screen mode just horrible..
