I really enjoyed playing this game all the way to getting everything, and buying everything and completing everything. The gameplay is just like it used to be, except for better graphics and more fatalities and also Kratos. The story was fun to do all the way until the end. The Challenge Tower was really fun, but painful to complete near the top 10 or so. The only thing that I didn't like was the thing that would just randomly pop up in the Krypt. That thing really made it difficult to go back to the Krypt. Anyway, 10 out of 10.
MK 9 delivers in every single way, love the challenge tower, i see no reason why this game didnt get a 10 or 9. am starting not to rely on ign's reviews anymore. after i played demon souls :( after receiving such a good rating.
white knight chronicles received such a bad rating from ign the game is not perfect but better than dragons age in every way.

Pros: A great return to the Mortal Kombat franchise. Graphically looks amazing, character renders are perfect that shows off their improved look but also having a klassic feel. Stages are clean with several other actions occurring in the backround. Several character cameos are seen which could hint some new DLC characters like Kenshin, Frost, Montaro, Scarlet to name a few. Fatalities are what it should be nasty and really out there but in a good way. Character moves are similar to their previous with a few tweeks to some. Story mode allows you to re-live the Mortal Kombat story from 1 to 3. The new tag team ladder is a great addition, what combination would you use to defeat Shao Khan.
Cons: Some parts of story mode are a bit vague and others doesn't seem to make sense. CPU tends to spam techniques and combo moves which can be irritating to those who play MK casually (like me). I'm more a MvC or Street Fighter type. The tower challenges seem redundant and can get annoying as you get higher. Especially when they remove you of all your abilities or your health/speed is drained every second and gives the CPU all the positive boosts.
Online mode is great except for the online pass which is the most ridiculous thing game companies are doing. Of course there are those players who sit in the corner and launch projectiles at you all day.
