i was suprised when i heard the announcement of another mortal kombat game. i had played the first and was not impressed at all. this mortal kombat im my opinion was not that much better. don't get me wrong it was a good game, but im just not the biggest mortal kombat fan. but since this was said to be soooo much better than the first, i had to give it a go.
the story mode was not really that impressive to me, it was too repetitive in my opinion and i know that that is what fighting genres are based on is just non-stop fighting, but for some reason this is why i didn't like the first game too well.
the other thing i didn't like was that you need a "Kombat Pass" to play online. last time i checked on it, it was 800 microsoft points ($10.00) so if you wanted to play online when you rented it, unless you paid 10 dollars for the pass, you can't which in my opinion is a total waste of money for just access to the online feature of a game.
overall i give this game a 6 out of 10
like i said before, its a good game, its just too repetitive for me.
