I haven't played Mortal Kombat since my Gameboy days. It seems I haven't missed much. The characters look great, and the mini-movies between fights are fun to watch. The problem is that it is the same old moves fight after fight. It took me a couple hours to get through story mode. I went all the way through story mode, not because it was fun, but because I had to see the ending. I played around as different DC and MK characters. Still, kinda boring after the first few fights. Good game to rent, but not so good to buy.

overall, this is a really fun game. the story mode is great on both sides and takes 4-6 hours to beat. really its about what i expected it to be, a good fighting game, with both mortal kombat and dc characters. its main downfall is features, really, besides story, arcade mode, and vs... there is nothing of use. other than that, my only complaint is dc, while i love the characters, they prevented the old school gore that used to be in the mortal kombat games, there are still fatalitys, but no pulling beating hearts out of people or ripping out the spine to finish an enemy. rent this game, its good.
i like the game is really good, but i didn`t like the way they put the story. cuz u have to change character over and over and u don`t really get to learn the moves.they r kind of the same but some fighters have extra ones. "but i recommend it if u a mortal kombat fan"
