This is a cool game but very hard to kill the monsters and is a waste of you money when you play(in the game you get money)

For all of you who have written a bad review of this game your are either 1. Misinformed 2. A bad gamer. or 3. couldn't get past the first training missions and decided to give up.

This is not for the casual gamers. This is for the hard-core gamers that actually care about gaming. The true winning aspect of this game is the multiplayer. I literally made all of my friends buy PSP's and this game just for that reason. I'm glad that I did. I now have not 4 but 5 people I can play with.

After experiencing how awesome the multiplayer is everything else just went out the window. As far as, load times, lack of storyline, slight graphics problems, whatever. All of them being a part of how truly great this game is. When you have an addictive, amazingly creative game like this you don't care about load times. "What load times?" I say.

I hear some people complaining about the lack of info that comes with the manual. The beauty of this game is that your always finding new things and learning about your environment... like a real hunter. And that is why this game is so immersive. If you want to find something out then you have to do some research.

Monster Hunter Freedom is a game best experienced with a friend in Co-Op Mode as the single player experience is too difficult and confusing, at least initially.

The game has a cool concept of hunting monsters and collecting their parts to make / upgrade weapons, potions, food, armor, etc.. This is definitely a case where having the manual would be important because I had no idea how to accomplish the initial quests which are fetch and deliver ones.

If this game had come out on a system with a robust and lively online community, Xbox Live - for example, the multiplayer aspect would have really made this an engaging, fun experience. When I tried to join up on a quest with others online, there was no online users available.

Do yourself a favor to avoid frustration, only rent this game if you have a buddy to play with.
