Mr. Monopoly makes it rain in the hood.

In all honesty I was very reluctant to play this title. Mainly because I was so scared by the last installment that at first glance, this “upgraded” version just looked like the old Monopoly game with a 3D board. If you were one of the unfortunate souls to play the previous Monopoly you would know exactly what I am talking about; low fun factor, annoying commentary every three seconds, stubborn AI, and worst of all no Xbox Live capabilities.
All those things fixed in Monopoly Streets. Well, with the exception of some irritating character gibberish (which can be fixed just by turning down the voice volume in your options menu.) Even the achievements were improved.
Bottom line if you like Monopoly you have to own this game. If you love to invest the three hours in a game it has you covered. If you don’t, it has other modes that can help you reduce game time. It is surprisingly fun to play, very family orientated, and on the opposite end of that spectrum, makes for a good tool for a drinking game also.
Tips: The extra red dice in the Speed Die game mode has three extra functions;
Mr. Monopoly: if the die shows Mr. Monopoly, your token will be instantly transported to the nearest two monopolies on the board.
Bus: if you roll the Bus it will take the number that you rolled (from the white dice) then let you choose where exactly you want to go. You can only move forward and you can only move the maximum that you rolled on the white dice.
Triples: With the red dice it is possible to roll Triples. If you are lucky enough to do so, you will be able transport your token anywhere on the board.
